Amnesty Is to Illegal Aliens As Timelines Are to Terrorists

President Bush has spoken forcefully and correctly of the folly in recently passed military funding bills that include timelines for withdrawal of American troops from Iraq.
With the exception of Democrats and a few out of touch RINOs here and there, most people realize that timelines are foolish signals of surrender that tell the enemy of America's dwindling commitment to victory, and the "date certain" by which said commitment will expire completely.
To his credit, the president plans to veto any bill that includes timelines.
The big question is: Why is this president unable to connect the dots and understand that amnesty for illegal aliens makes no more sense than timelines for terrorists?
Amnesty, as history proves, simply motivates additional millions of uneducated peasants to invade our nation and to plunder American taxpayers.
It tells millions of Mexicans in waiting that America will not enforce its borders or immigration laws, and that invasion can be undertaken with impunity.
In 1986, amnesty was granted for about three million illegal aliens.
30 years and 12-30 million illegal aliens later, America has a much larger problem to deal with, and because of 9/11, a far more dangerous problem.
Just as timelines work against American interests in the war on terror, so it is that amnesty would work against American interests in the war to prevent the illegal invasion of this great nation.
Amnesty never has worked and never will!
The solution is to secure our borders and deport all illegal aliens!

some people are close minded as this guy, but others see the good results an amnesty can have. millions of illegal immigrants working in this country, do not pay taxes, giving them the oportunity to have legal documents will let the government know where they are, what they do for a living and most important, they would have to pay taxes like the rest of us. Maybe helping this many people wont look good to most american born citizents, but it doesn't change the fact that more workers will help our cities grow and our country stronger. One of the main reasons minorities are involved in crime and gang activities is because of the way people like john billpop, talk about them and make them sound like. What would you expect from someone yet worse a whole race you trash in front of an entire country. "TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED". I my self have lived around illegal immigrants my whole life, and therefor understand the reasons why a lot of immigrants feel discriminated and pushed away. Getting rid of illegal immigrants involved in crimes and violence should be enforced, but not shown as a way of living of every illegal immigrant. We should be strict against those who fail to respect our laws, and willing to help those who just want to have a better life and are trying while struggling because of the way people like john billpop present them as. If we all came together and helped EACH OTHER out, we would live in a entire different world. Our country has had racial problems for a very long time, after all we would figure that keeping people away only brings us more problems to deal with. We live in a big world with big problems where terrorrist can be from any country or any race, and bringing 9/11 against mexicans or any other immigrants who would benefit from an amnesty only shows racism and hatred. Controlling the border is a one of this country's priorities and it should be; that way we would control who comes and leaves this country in a more efficient way. Just remember bringing up only the bad side of a community does not fix the problem it only makes it worse.
