Illegal Aliens Must Go!

America was built by Immigrants--LEGAL immigrants. Illegal aliens have no legal or moral basis for being in America. All illegal aliens must be deported and U.S. borders must be secured to prevent more invaders from coming here!

Immigration Reform? Let's Try Mexico's Immigration Law in U.S.!

by John W. Lillpop

Mexico seems to be wallowing in "Do As I say, Not As I Do" hypocrisy when it comes to immigration laws. Successive presidents and foreign ministers of the nation have called for leniency on the part of the U.S. when it comes to Mexicans coming to America illegally across U.S. borders.

Do Mexican leaders practice what they preach when it comes to, say, an American couple seeking a cheaper, slower-paced lifestyle? Not on your tortilla!

Mexico, according to journalist and terrorist expert Dr. J. Michael Waller, has some of the strictest immigration laws of any country, and they enforce them to the letter.

A link to his commentary.
http://www.citizensforaconstitutionalrepublic.com/waller5-8-06.html

Waller informs us that "Mexico has a radical idea for a rational immigration policy that most Americans would love. However, Mexican officials haven’t been sharing that idea with us as they press for the U.S. Congress to adopt the McCain-Kennedy immigration reform bill."

Waller adds: "That’s too bad, because Mexico, which annually deports more illegal aliens than the United States does, has much to teach us about how it handles the immigration issue.

Under Mexican law, it is a felony to be an illegal alien in Mexico."

Waller sharpens his point by commenting on the unnerving tendency of some legal scholars in the U.S. to use foreign laws as a reference point for deciding issues in America.

Waller states, "At a time when the Supreme Court and many politicians seek to bring American law in line with foreign legal norms, it’s noteworthy that nobody has argued that the U.S. look at how Mexico deals with immigration and what it might teach us about how best to solve our illegal immigration problem."

And whereas U.S. laws are often cumbersome, complex instruments fathomable only to lawyers who charge upwards of $300 an hour, things are more to the point in Mexican law.

Again, quoting Waller from the referenced link: "Mexico has a single, streamlined law that ensures that foreign visitors and immigrants are:

• In Mexico legally;

• Have the means to sustain themselves economically;

• Not destined to be burdens on society;

• Of economic and social benefit to society;

• Of good character and have no criminal records; and

• Contributors to the general well being of the nation.

"The law also ensures that:

• Authorities have a record of each foreign visitor;

• Foreign visitors do not violate their visa status;

• Foreign visitors are banned from interfering in the country’s internal politics;

• Foreign visitors who enter under false pretenses are imprisoned or deported;

• Foreign visitors violating the terms of their entry are imprisoned or deported;

• Those who aid in illegal immigration will be sent to prison."

Who could disagree with such a law? It makes perfect sense," Waller states with unassailable logic.

Unfortunately, very little "perfect sense" is obvious in the ongoing debate on immigration reform here in the United States. Rather, the interests of the American people are often ignored or made subordinate by politicians from both parties.

Of greater interest to some in Washington, D.C., is feeding an insatiable corporate appetite for cheap labor, satisfying a wicked lust for cheap votes, and giving in to an inexplicable drive to promote America's decay into a third-world abyss.

These ignoble interests trump rule of law, homeland security, economic and social stability, and preservation of American language and culture in the minds of some elected officials sworn to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution.

By contrast, Waller notes that Mexican law and officials are focused on numero uno--that being Mexico!

Waller writes, "The Mexican constitution strictly defines the rights of citizens – and the denial of many fundamental rights to non-citizens, both illegal and illegal.

"Under the constitution, the Ley General de Población, or General Law on Population spells out specifically the country’s immigration policy.

"It is an interesting law – and one that should cause us all to ask, 'Why is our southern neighbor pushing us to water down our own immigration laws and policies, when its own immigration restrictions are the toughest on the continent?'

"If a felony is a crime punishable by more than one year in prison, then Mexican law makes it a felony to be an illegal alien in Mexico.

"If the United States adopted such statutes, Mexico no doubt would denounce them as a manifestation of American racism and bigotry."

Waller supports his main thesis by citing key articles of Mexico's main
law.

Again quoting from the commentary at http://www.citizensforaconstitutionalrepublic.com/waller5-8-06.html:

"We looked at the immigration provisions of the Mexican constitution. Now let’s look at Mexico’s main immigration law.

"Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:

• Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of
contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)

• Immigration officials must 'ensure' that 'immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance' and for their dependents. (Article 34)

• Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets 'the
equilibrium of the national demographics,' when foreigners are deemed
detrimental to 'economic or national interests,' when they do not behave like
good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and
when 'they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.' (Article 37)

• The Secretary of Governance may 'suspend or prohibit the admission of
foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.' (Article 38)

• Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

• Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration
authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article
73)

• A National Population Registry keeps track of 'every single individual who
comprises the population of the country,' and verifies each individual’s identity.
(Articles 85 and 86)

• A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

• Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article
116)

• Foreigners who sign government documents 'with a signature that is false or
different from that which he normally uses' are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

• Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)

• Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)

• Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico – such as working with out a permit – can also be imprisoned.

• Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

• A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five
thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country
illegally. (Article 123)

• Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico
instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)

• Foreigners who 'attempt against national sovereignty or security' will be
deported. (Article 126)

• Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered
criminals under the law.

• A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the
foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)

• Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132)"

Waller summarizes his review of Mexican law with this statement: "All of the above runs contrary to what Mexican leaders are demanding of the United States. The stark contrast between Mexico’s immigration practices versus its American immigration preaching is telling. It gives a clear picture of the Mexican government’s agenda: to have a one-way immigration relationship with the United States."

Waller concludes his excellent work with a challenge that should be visited upon all 535 members of the U.S. Congress and President Bush as they consider immigration reform.

Waller's challenge:

"Let’s call Mexico’s bluff on its unwarranted interference in U.S. immigration policy.

Let’s propose, just to make a point, that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) member nations standardize their immigration laws by using Mexico’s own law as a model."

Congratulations to J. Michael Waller.* His is a voice of sanity that needs to be heard, especially by inmates wandering the halls and cloak rooms of Capitol Hill and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

*J. Michael Waller is vice president for Information Operations at the Center for Security Policy. A journalist and author, he brings expertise in terrorism, intelligence, the former Soviet Union, and the Americas. He previously served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of State.

Our politicians are the enemies of the US citizens. They are importing these people to replace us. They (mexicans) are easily taken over by the nearest 2 bit dictator. the politicians need them here. they breed like insects. Historically, Americans will only take so much crap.but when we are totally out numbered, our greedy leaders will pull out all the stops. we will have to leave our own country. The greed bags will live in opulence.

People often look at this problem wrong. Illegal immigrants are like an infestation of cockroaches. If no action is taken against the first few seen, then an infestation begins. Soon, there are hundreds of thousands, or millions, of the buggers. Cockroaches never start with a wave of thousands, but with one, or two, here and there. Once in, they breed and ensuing offspring multiply into thousands. Once in, they refuse to leave and take over a home. They suck up valuable resources. They also import a whole lot of disease. In this case, let's equate disease with drug trafficing and illegal activities. This, in turn, requires a whole lot of (taxpayer) money to combat. Not only that, but in the United States, we are required to nourish, educate, and give health care to the cockroaches. All of this, PLUS the cockroaches AND their nest trying to influence and change the home owner's policies against roaches. Would ANY sane person refuse to try to eradicate a cockroach infestation? I think not.

Here's a novel idea. Round up all of the illegals and portion them out. Give each portion to an illegal immigrant proponent and make THEM ONLY responsible for their health, employment, education, children, legal fees, food, shelter, and anything else they desire, as their guardians. Sort of like the foreign exchange students are treated WITHOUT added compensation. If the guardians can't control them, throw THEM in prison for a FELONY and give them huge fines. Leave the rest of us alone. I suspect a whole lot of minds would be changed regarding illegal immigrants. My ancestral grandfather, who fought in the Mexican-American War, is probably rolling over in his grave because of what is happening in the United States today.

Pardon me posting as 'anonymous', but the venomous hate spewing forth from pro-immigration activists doesn't need to be overflowing my mail box, for just expressing my thoughts.

I used to live in a nice, QUIET, well kept neighborhood in a mobile home community. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Everyone watched out for everyone else.

Now, I live in one of Tulsa's several barrios among many garishly painted mobile homes. Noisy little children are everywhere, just turned loose to scream at the top of their voices, and play in the streets and on anyone's lot they see fit to play in. There are teenagers prowling in bands roving the streets all night long. Gang tagging has begun. Stereos are blasting bass vibrations all day and night. Intimidation has begun. The 'new breed' of tenants even ignore the mobile home park rules and regulations. They often get in the face of management trying to enforce the rules. I'm fed up. Quality sleep is even negligible, and I NEED sleep.

My solution? Why fight it? Politicians and law enforcement ignore it. People who rent, or sell, property to illegals ignore it. I am currently looking for 80-100 acres somewhere to build my, log cabin covered, concrete bunker on. I want some peace and quiet. I never want to be exposed to an environment like I'm living in again and to live in a barrio slum.

If this solution doesn't work, New Zealand is looking more and more inviting, as a ex-pat. 'F' a country which doesn't look out for its own natural born CITIZENS. I voluntarily fought in war for my OWN nation's flag, NOT for the mexican/south american/central american nation's flags. I didn't risk my life, get wounded, become 100% disabled because of it, and merely exist for the rest of my life (such as it is), for this crap going on today.

I think that I, and millions like me, deserve it.

As with the most of the posts here, I am for the immigration law. I do not understand what part of "illegal" alien is not understand. I too, was passed over by a job that I have done for over 30 years because I didnt speak Spanish, and why should I? Its not my primary language. I am disgusted, and disgraced by all the handouts they get. My daughter lost her husband to the war in Iraq, they were married for only 3 years and he loved the Navy. Once he was gone, everything else went as well. She is no longer allowed on base, she and their newborn child was left without any insurance, her housing, well she and the baby were basically thrown out and left homeless. Her husband who fought for our rights was taken from her and their tiny son. She tried to get some assistance for them, they received nothing. She had to wait for 45 days and be without before she could even file.
What the heck is that? We moved them to our home. She saw Mexicans, who are not citizens, who have not paid into the system in order to recieve from it, get assistance right away, and housing and help with money.

I lost a job because I refused to learn the Mexican language. If I go to Mexico, do I receive assistance, housing, or monies, do I get an interpretor? No! I am sick and tired of all the bending over we Americans have been forced to live with.

What the heck is happening to America and the Americans? Why is the Cinco de May day shoved down my childrens and grandchildrens throats, why do we celebrate a Mexican holiday in America?

I am sick of America and the immigrants. Illegal is illegal, go and stay in Mexico, continue to ruin your own country. You have used up all our resources so that Americans who have paid into it, cant use it.

I had my social security number stolen and used by a field worker who was trying to retire on my benefits! My car was hit by a mexican driver who did not even have a license to drive so of course he had no insurance. And of course he couldnt speak English. English is our primary language here. Go to any other country, what do they speak beside their own language? English!

Only in America do we allow these people to run over us like herds of cockroaches stealing our resources, stealing our cars, stealing from our homes, molesting our children. When is enough ENOUGH?

I am sick to death of it. Every other immigrant that has come here, learn and speak English, if not learned in their country. But not the people of Mexico. I guess its just too much for them. They are an embarrassment to the race in a hole. I do not include them in the Latino race. They are not from Latin America. They are not Spaniards, do not confuse the difference.

Go anywhere on earth in this world
in the deep jungles, and what do they speak besides their own language? English.

And the illegals here cant learn English, we have to learn their language in our own country, or lose our jobs, not qualify for a job because we dont speak mexican. Thats what it is, it is NOT spanish, the words are very different. Its mexican, plain and simple. I do not and will not turn my family into something they are not. I will not and do not celebrate their independence day, its not my country. I kept my kids out of school on that day.

Call me a racist, whatever fits, I love my mexican american born friends and family. But I detest ignorance, laziness, stupidity, and I hate theives!

We Americans are leaving America because it is simply becoming Northern Mexico.

I am sick and tired of all the bending over we have to do and why are expected to do it? What is it that they bring to us besides, drugs, infestations of diseases, cockroaches, and filth. Where will they migrant to next? Our resources or used up. They have ruined neighbborhoods, they take and take and take and nothing is given in return.

Why do we celebrate their Mexican independence? Why do we have to speak mexican in order to get a job, and why are they paid more because they speak it?

Why do we pay into all the immigration programs? CUT THEM, americans do not use immigration programs. There is billions of dollars right there.

Stop handing out free food, money, housing and medical care to these people. They are here illegally!!! Why on earth would you give someone items to survive when they are not supposed to here in the first place?????

Spend the money on electric fences all along the border. You cant even board a plane here without all the checks and restrictions we now have and why do we have them? Because illegals were in this country and bombed us while getting an American education.

What message are we sending our children? Its ok to do some illegal things but not others? Its ok to cheat the govenment on some things in order to get free stuff, but not others?

The message the Mexicans get? "Come here, everything is free and you dont even have to speak the language they will bend over and do things for you and give you whatever you need to stay here illegally." "Sneaking across the border is only a slap on the hand." Once here, you get free medical care, free housing, free money, and you get to take the good jobs Americans want because they dont speak mexican!" "And they will even celebrate your independence on Cinco de Mayo, even though you are in America"

Its all BS and I am sick to death of it all. Force Mexicos laws on their own people here in the US, take away all immigrant programs unless you paid into it. You need to buy your own insurance and take care of yourself here, there are no freebees. Or GET THE HECK OUT AND STAY OUT AND TAKE YOUR TRASH, DISEASES, DRUGS AND COCKROACHES WITH YOU!"

And yes, New Zealand looks more favorable all the time to me too.

This article is narrow minded and redneck-rationale, illegal aliens come to the US to escape a slave life.The US imposes harsh economic policies on third world countries, enslaving entire populations on unbearable wages, please take a trip to Ciudad Juarez in Mexico and see the "maquiladoras" where people work for 10 dollars a day to make the cellphones,stereps & TVS and all that redneck shit you buy CHEAP.

Some "anonymous" poster griped that American companies "force" Mexicans to work as "slaves". Do they have them chained to their bench? Do they post armed guards at the doors? Or do they work at the "horrid" wages because it's more than they'd earn from local companies?
