By John W. LillpopAlthough W., Oliver Stone's fictional account of George W. Bush is mostly liberal pap, the film does have one redeeming feature:
Much to the consternation of Bush-haters everywhere, W. does not support the leftist notion that "Bush Lied, People Died" about WMD.In fact, the film shows Bush as very frustrated and extremely angry at key players in his administration for botching the intelligence on WMD.
There were no scenes showing Bush and Cheney, or anyone else in the administration, engaged in a diabolical plot to fabricate intelligence in order to get 110 Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate to support the Joint Resolution for military force against Iraq.
Perhaps Stone simply overlooked those dark moments, a product of his advancing years? Or maybe the director omitted them intentionally out of concern for national security and troops still in harms way in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Yeah, right! And perhaps Bill Clinton really believed that his rendezvous with Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office NOT sexual in nature!
Horse vomit!
If there were the slightest shred of evidence that Bush and crew fabricated WMD intelligence or lied about it to deceive Congress, Stone would have featured such information prominently!
Therefore, it is prudent to remember that well known Democrats and supporters were very outspoken about Saddam Hussein and his WMD before the war. Some of those quotes include:

Bottom line: W. did NOT lie about WMD. Furthermore, he was he was joined in his war efforts by a lot of willing Democrats!
